Az Elgaloy Hard 100 ideális elektróda a bányászati és kőfejtő iparban használt gépalkatrészek és szerszámok kemény felületéhez . Rendkívül magas króm-karbid-tartalmú hegesztési fémet állít elő, amelyet nagy kopásállóság, de korlátozott ütésállóság jellemez. Jó kopásállóságot mutat magas hőmérsékleten. A felületi repedések normálisak és 250-450 o előmelegítéssel csökkenthetőkC. Többrétegű vagy 13% mangánacél felszínén Elgaloy Mix 18 pufferréteget javasolunk, hogy megakadályozzuk a repedés továbbterjedését az alapanyagba.
Alkalmazás:
Kotrófogak, kotró pengék, dagasztóhengerek, csavaros szállítószalagok, kaparók és pengék, darálópofák, kalapácsok, mezőgazdasági alkatrészek és bányászati felszerelésekhez.
Elgaloy Hard 100 is a high recovery electrode, producing a weld metal deposit extremely rich in chromium carbides which is highly resistant to abrasion but exhibits limited impact resistance. Ideal for hard surfacing components used in the mining and quarrying industries. Good wear and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Surface cracking is normal and can be reduced by preheating to 250-450°C. A buffer layer of Elgaloy Mix 18 is recommended for heavy build-ups or surfacing 13% Mn steels to prevent crack propagation into base material. Deposits are not machinable but can be ground. Also available as a self-shielded flux cored wire, Elgaloy Hard R 100 and as a flux coated tubular electrode, Elgaloy Tube 100, designed to give high deposition rates at very low welding currents. The electrode is preferably to be used with DC+, to create a thick build up also AC is possible to use.
BENEFITS:
More production, eliminate the need of chevrons, reduction in bagasse humidity and decrease wear on rolls.
Can be used in wet condition (during crushing) as well as in dry condition (on lathe of 3 to 5 RPM) or on stationery position.
WELDING PROPERTIES:
Powerful arc spray type which deposit cast alloy hot droplets of chromium carbide of high hardness. Perfect adherence and total utilization of the deposited droplets that are placed in ideal size, format and quality that do not detach in service.
III. NOTES ON USAGE:
Hold electrode vertical to workpiece. Keep stable arc on moving roll for full spraying effect.
2 o’clock position welds (45-50º angle, from the horizontal).
12 o’clock position welds, Desired high spatter levels at high current.
All positions listed above, apply to procedures related to the surfacing/resurfacing of the crushing rolls for the sugar cane industry.
IV. HARDNESS OF WELD METAL DEPOSIT :
HRC 60 (as welded, 3 passes on mild steel)
